Pucon Kayak Retreat hosted our group for the multi-sport week. We had a variety of people from mild to wild. David and his guides, Haley, Blue and Veleida accommodated all our needs. From pick up to return from the airport. The riverside facility was marvelous. Food was outstanding, and the activities of the week were catered to our group. Dave made everything everything super smooth as far as the logistics of kayak and Hilux truck rentals. The kayak options for rental had anything I personally wanted to paddle for the 3 weeks in Chile. I was very happy we had this truck, the roads in Chile are pretty rough and a car would not have been ideal. Dave was incredibly welcoming and helpful all around. Accommodations right on the Trancura are perfectly situated. I just got back and I am ready to go right back and do it again. Wouldn’t change a thing.

We just returned from a Multi-Sport week at Pucon Kayak Retreat and are ready to go back!  David and his team are amazing. The week was packed with activities from kayaking and rafting to hiking  and fishing, with relaxing at hot springs, shopping and dinner in Pucon too.  Accomodations and food are perfect. Everything about this retreat experience was amazing. Although I have kayaked flatwater for years, I was new to whitewater. Our guides, Haley and Blue, were the perfect teaching duo. They helped me understand the dynamics of whitewater, both in theory and in practice. They knew the perfect balance between nudging me beyond my comfort zone without pushing too hard. It was a nice balance of feeling challenged yet safe. The authentic Chilean food was amazing. Sharing mealtime with staff and other guests each day was like being with family. The location, atmosphere and amenities were all top notch. The river suite was a perfect blend of luxurious simplicity. I slept so well each night listening to the river below--I was able to keep the  windows and even the French doors open since there were no mosquitoes. AM – Full Day Road trips are big days and often the group favorites. An early breakfast followed by won of the most scenic drives circling volcanos, lakes and rivers.
